Bornova Misketi | Endemic Anatolian Muscat
Bornova Misketi, also known as Muscat of Bornova, is an indigenous Turkish clone of Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains, originally cultivated around the village of Bornova in İzmir, Western Anatolia.
Grape seeds of this variety have been discovered in Neolithic-era settlements near ancient Smyrna — dating back over 8,500 years, a testament to the region’s deep-rooted winemaking heritage.
Fermented with native yeasts and macerated on the skins for 35 days, this wine was bottled without filtration and with minimal sulphur.
A true ode to the ancient winemaking traditions of Anatolia, expressing both purity and history in every glass.
Tasting Notes:
Golden in color, with expressive aromas of orange blossom, apricot, and honey. The palate is textured yet vibrant, with notes of dried citrus peel and gentle tannins from extended skin contact. A beautifully structured orange-style Muscat that combines freshness and authenticity.

⚠️ Contains alcohol. Not for sale to persons under 18 years old.
Crafted from one of Anatolia’s oldest grape varieties — a living link between past and present.
