Junus | Endemic Anatolian Blend

Junus is a blend of three native Turkish grape varieties — Boğazkere (43%), Öküzgözü (43%), and Kalecik Karası (14%) — all grown on our estate in Akhisar, Western Anatolia.

Each variety was fermented separately with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks, then aged for 15 months in French oak barrels. This careful approach highlights the unique character of Anatolia’s indigenous grapes.

Tasting Notes:
Ruby red in color. The nose opens with aromas of redcurrant, black fruits, and dried prunes. The palate is round with satiny tannins, revealing flavors of blackberry and black cherry. A refined, age-worthy wine with lively acidity, elegant structure, and a long, lingering finish.
