Vinolus Blend | Kalecik Karası & Syrah

This expressive blend brings together Kalecik Karası, an elegant and aromatic native Turkish grape, and Syrah, known for its depth and structure. Both varieties were hand-picked and carefully transported to the winery in 20 kg crates to preserve fruit integrity.

After a three-day cold maceration in stainless steel tanks, each variety was fermented separately with gentle extraction. The Syrah underwent an extended maceration to achieve a richer yet softer profile, followed by remontage.
Syrah was then aged for nine months in oak barrels, while Kalecik Karası rested in stainless steel to retain its freshness and floral notes. The final blend was crafted after maturation to create balance and harmony between the two varietals.

Tasting Notes:
Ruby-colored with pronounced aromas of raspberry, cherry, and plum. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet refined, revealing layers of ripe red fruit, subtle spices, vanilla, and a touch of oak. Smooth tannins and balanced acidity lead to an elegant, lingering finish.
